Field Visit (22 May 1930)

The Manse.

This building occupies the site of the northern end of the cellarium of the Abbey. It has a 17th-century core, but has been largely modernised. A dormer pediment rebuilt into the west wall is inscribed M / 1762 / I D / 1637.
