Activities

Field Visit (23 June 1927)

Commercial Hotel, Anstruther Easter.

This building, which stands on the left bank of the Dreel Burn at its entrance to the harbour, dates from the late 16th or early 17th century. It has been almost entirely modernised but retains a stair-tower, circled on the lower part but corbelled out to square above first-floor level.

RCAHMS 1933, visited 23 June 1927

Photographic Survey (July 1963)
