Field Visit (26 October 1993)

NN93NE 24 9985 3890

This rectangular building is situated on gently-sloping heather-covered ground above the E bank of the Dancy Burn, 600m SSE of the ruined steading of Outfields of Trochrie (NN93NE 20). It measures 9.4m from NNE to SSW by 5.8m transversely over walls now reduced to stony banks 1.6m thick and 0.3m high. The entrance appears to have been at the NNE end.
