Archaeology Notes (27 February 1995)

NS85NE 62.01 8902 5939

The 1921 revision of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire, sheet xiii) depicts a roofless rectangular structure about 25m S of the spoil tip NS85NE 62.00. No remains can be identified, and it may have formed the mine buildings associated with the tip.
