Situated to the S of the Slamannan Railway Line (NS87SW 47) about 250m W of Longrigg farmsteading, there is a coal mine consisting of a small conical bing, which is depicted, along with a roofed building to the NE, on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire 1899, sheet iii).
