Situated to the E of the Forrestfield Road, this coal mine, which is not depicted on the early editions of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire 1864, 1899, 1922, sheet iv), comprises a small bing on the N side of the mineral railway line which connects the site with the Slamannan Railway Line (NS86NW 14) at Longriggend and Auchengray Coal Pit (NS86NW 50.02) to the W of the road.
