There are at least two huts and a turf sheepfold on the edge of a terrace to the N of the track that runs along the N bank of the Geldie Burn. The turf sheepfold is overlain by a later drystone fold and, to the S, two quarry pits disturb the site of what may have been further shieling-huts. The two huts lie next to one another some 20m to the E and both have two compartments. That to the W measures 8.7m from N to S by 2.2m transversely within faced-rubble walls 0.8m in thickness and 0.3m in height with an outshot at the N end of the E wall, extending 1.6m to the E by 2.7m in breadth and that to the E, which is much reduced and partly robbed, measures 7.7m from N to S by 3.4m over stony banks spread to 1.2m in thickness and 0.25m in height.
