(Scheduled as palisaded enclosure under site-name Mark Cottage).

Information from Historic Scotland, scheduling document dated 5 October 1999.

This palisaded enclosure has have been recorded as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1992). It is circular in plan and defined by a ditch about 1.2m wide. The enclosed area is 26.8m in diameter, but the SW quarter is missing, and appears to have been incorporated into a modern field boundary. A break in the NE may have been an entrance, but it is not clear.
