Aerial Photographic Interpretation (10 April 2014)
A pit circle, which may be the remains of a ceremonial timber circle or a later prehistoric round house, has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs some 110m SSE of Eweford. The circle of at least twelve pits measures about 10m in diameter. Two large pits are visible in the interior. Some 45m to the SSE, there may be a second pit circle, indicated by at least six pits and one pit at its centre.
