Field Visit (6 June 1991)

NC82SE 31 8734 2344.

This hut-circle is situated on a broad natural terrace on the peat-covered NE flank of Cnoc Ascaig and measures 8.5m in diameter within a stony bank spread to 2m in thickness and 0.7m in height. A drain has been cut through the NE arc and an entrance is visible on the SE.

A number of small cairns are visible in the vicinity, both on the terrace and at NC 877 236 on the lower slopes of the hills.
