This burnt mound is situated at the foot of a steep slope in deciduous woodland and to the S of a small burn with a drain running around its S side. It comprises three mounds of burnt material of which the third occupies what appears as the mouth of a U-shaped mound, the two arms of the U being joined by a mound of natural soil. It measures 10.5m from ENE to WSW by a similar distance transversely and up to 0.6m in height, the third mound being somewhat smaller.
