Cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1989) reveal a scatter of pits and several linear features on the terrace to the WSW of Strageath Mains. The function of the pits is not known but they are relatively large, measuring up to 4m across. The linear cropmarks may be field-boundaries from a layout of fields that predates those shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1866, sheet cvii).
