On the moorland above the eastmost crofts of Easter Clynekirkton is a scattered group of small and inconspicuous mounds.

RCAHMS 1911, visited 1909.

Centred: NC902 065 On a gentle SE-facing slope, partly in open moorland and partly amidst early modern cultivation, are about two dozen stone clearance heaps widely scattered over an area of about twelve hectares. They are of a type commonly found in association with hut circles but no huts are apparent, neither are any field plots.
