Field Visit (17 May 1990)

NX65NW 47 6304 5761.

This crescentic burnt mound is set on the side of a slope to the NW of Munwhall above a burn. It measures 9.8m from N to S by 4.3m transversely, opening out to the E, and up to 0.6m in height. Lifting a sod revealed cracked stone and black soil.
