Activities

Field Visit (30 May 1990)

NX66NW 4.1 6199 6504.

This hut-circle is situated on a small knoll on an E-facing slope; it measures 10.8m from N to S by 11.3m transversely within a stony bank from 1.5m to 2m in thickness and 0.3m in height. A crude stance for a feed bin has been constructed in the interior and this has caused considerable disturbance. To the NNW are two rectangular footings and juxtaposed enclosures. The small cairns in the vicinity measure between 2m and 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height (NX66NW 4.8).

Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 30 May 1990.
