Activities

Field Visit (21 August 1989)

NT12NE 9 1552 2732.

What are probably the remains of two shieling-huts are situated on a deposit of boulders at the confluence of the Glentinning Burn and the Stanhope Burn. The walls of the westerly hut, which is the larger of the two, have been reduced to low stony banks, while the easterly hut appears to be open ended on the N.

Visited by RCAHMS (SPH) 21 August 1989.

Sbc Note

Visibility: Upstanding building, which may not be intact.
