RCAHMS Afforestable Land Survey, Stanhope

NT13SW 51 1268 3094.

What is possibly a ploughed-down scooped settlement was identified on the N bank of the Hopecarton Burn. The settlement lies on the leading edge of a river terrace about 40m SW of the cottage at Hopecarton.
