Kinmont's Tower of Sark, or Morton, is shown on a map of 1590. It was here that Buccleuch made final plans to rescue Kinmont Willie from Carlisle Castle in 1596.

There is now no trace of this tower, referred to as 'Sark Tower' by the local farmer.

Nothing can be seen of what is variously known as Sark, Morton or Kinmont's Tower; it is depicted on a map of 1590 and is locally said to have stood about 100m E of Tower-of-Sark farmhouse.
