This hut-circle is situated on a slight knoll, on the W flank of the Muil about 90m S of an old field of rig-and-furrow cultivation. It is slightly oval, measuring 9.8m from N to S by 8.7m transversely within a stony bank spread up to 2.1m in thickness and 0.2m in height. On the N, E and S arcs respectively, there are occasional facing-stones. The entrance is on the SSE and is covered by a baffle wall 1.7m thick and 0.4m high (enclosing an area of 4.1m by 3.2m); the inner edge of the baffle wall is faced with substantial orthostats.

A quarry has been dug into the outcrop immediately upslope and to the N of the hut circle, with the resultant upcast forming a bank on the E. This may be a trial for lead.
