OS 6" map (1957)

There is a possible site of one large round cairn from which all the big stones have been removed; but no sign of the second.

RCAHMS 1912, visited 1911

The remains of cairn 'B' survive as a heather-covered mound 23.0m in diameter and 0.4m high with occasional heaps of cairn material showing through. There is no trace of cairn 'A'. (See NX16SW 48)

Surveyed at 1:10000.

Visited by OS (JP) 12 May 1976

This cairn is situated on the gently sloping W flank of Balker Moor, 830m ESE of High Craigcaffie farmhouse. Stone-robbing has extensively disturbed the surface of the cairn and broken through the perimeter on the SE, but the mound still measures 19m in diameter and up to 0.6m in height.

RCAHMS 1987, visited (SH) May 1986
