Archaeology Notes

NX16NE 66 1780 6884.

A cairn stands on a terrace on the slope below the public road between New Luce and Barrhill, 320m ESE of its junction with the track leading to Craigbirnoch. Apart from some minor quarrying on its top, the cairn appears to be intact, measuring 15m in diameter by 1.4m in height.

RCAHMS 1987, visited (SH) 6 April 1986.
