OS 6" map (1957)
A cairn 50 feet to 60 feet in diameter, reduced to a height of from 2 feet to 3 feet then used for dumping field clearance, so that its character is barely recognisable. It is known as Killfedder.
RCAHMS 1912, visited 1911; E M H M'Kerlie 1916
A large cairn generally as described by the RCAHMS. It measures 24m NW-SE by 19m; its oval shape probably being caused by stone-clearance dumping. It is not known by any particular name.
Resurveyed at 1:2500.
Visited by OS (WDJ) 11 March 1968
No change to previous field report.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
Visited by OS (BS) 5 May 1976
This cairn is situated 330m NE of the deserted farmhouse at Kilfeddar. It probably measures about 16.5m in diameter, but it has been enveloped in a large heap of field- cleared stone which measures 25.7m from NW to SE by 16.5m transversely and up to 1.4m in height.
RCAHMS 1987, visited (SH) 24 October 1986.
