Field Visit (29 July 1935)

Southvoe. A burnt mound lies about 20 yards E of the road at the village of Southvoe and about 200yds W of a broch (HU41SW 2).

RCAHMS 1946, visited 29 July 1935.

Field Visit (21 May 1968)

At HU 3982 1477, there is a very large mound of burnt stones. There are some slabs set on edge protruding through the mound, but these are probably later insertions.

Surveyed at 1/2500.
