A modern plantation bank enclosing an area 55m in diameter.
Visited by OS 16 September 1960.
Aerial Photographic Interpretation (18 February 1992)
This plantation bank is visible on an OS air photograph (OS vertical air photograph 024/267, 1968) and has been transcribed on to an enlarged map overlay at 1:2500. Several cultivation terraces on the N of the hill (NT 6975 0955) have also been transcribed, but none of these features have been checked on the ground.

This subcircular plantation bank is situated at the summit of Knock Hills East, about 500m NW of Wooplaw farmstead, and measures approximately 51m in diameter. For the cairn located in the SE quadrant of the plantation see NT60NE 3.
