Scheduled (with NT58SW 24, NT58SW 25, NT58SW 58 ) as Congalton Gardens, settlement.

Information from Historic Scotland, scheduling document dated 31 January 1994.

This settlement has been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1976, 1978, 1991, 1993, 1995, 2000) lying on level ground to the N of the canalized course of the Peffer Burn. It is oval on plan and measures about 50m N-S by about 30m within an outer ditch and inner palisade, which may have two distinct phases. There is an entrance on the E and sunken features, which may be overlapping roundhouses, within the interior.
