Activities

Field Visit (October 1975)

NS 992 304. There is a cairn, situated some 800m W of enclosure NT03SW 10, on the crest of a steep-sided spur (335m OD) projecting W from Lamington Hill. It has been severely denuded by stone-robbing to provide material for a nearby boundary wall, and now appears as a roughly circular, grass-covered, stony mound measuring about 8.5m in diameter and 0.6m in maximum height.

RCAHMS 1978, visited October 1975.

Field Visit (21 February 1979)

This cairn is as described, except that the overall diameter is 10.5m.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.

Visited by OS(JRL) 21 February 1979.
