This ploughed-down, turf-covered barrow was as described by the RCAHMS when seen in 1966. Several small stones lay on and around it.

Resurveyed at 1:2500.

Field Visit (August 1974)

Barrow, Blackhill, Lesmahagow.

The remains of this barrow are situated in an arable field 80m W of Blackhill farm. It measures about 26m in diameter and 1.7m in height, but it was formerly almost twice this height; it is said to have contained a number of inhumation burials (Young 1899, 501-2).
