Field Visit (August 1971)
NS 897 285 Cairn, Wildshaw Hill. Situated in open moorland (345m OD) near the foot of the SW slopes of Wildshaw Hill, 365m E of the source of the Mill Burn, there is a grass-grown cairn measuring 10.7m in diameter and 1.0m in height. At its centre there is a considerable depression where stones have been removed.

NS82NE 3 8961 2850.
At NS 8961 2850, on a watershed, this cairn measures 10.7m diameter by 1.0m high. It has a central depression and is peat-covered; there are no discernible structural features. The cairn has an extensive view to the east and the west.
