Standing Stone, Craigmore Cottage. In the front garden of Craigmore Cottage there is a standing stone of local lava measuring 3ft 2ins in height. It tapers towards the top but is otherwise irregular in shape. It seems very doubtful whether this stone is an ancient monument as has been suggested (DES 1957, 36).
