NS 5683 7947. While digging the silage pit at this point, about March 1955, some farm workers found a "stone box" formed of flag-stones. It was destroyed before Mr J Ward (owner, Broadgate farm, Strathblane) was told of the discovery, and he did not know if anything was found in it.
