OS 6" map (1924)

The remains of an almost circular dun, measuring about 18m in diameter within a wall some 3.7m thick, are situated on the edge of the cliff that overlooks the Bellochantuy machair from a height of 45m OD. Except on the S where the entrance was presumably situated, the wall now appears as a band of debris in which several stones of the outer face and a single stone of the inner face are visible in situ. Many of these facing stones are massive boulders which measure up to 1.0m in both height and breadth and 0.6m in thickness. The interior of the dun is featureless.
