Airborne Laser Scanning Interpretation (25 March 2022)

The remains of an oval enclosure within Drummullin Wood have been identified during desk-based examination of visualisations of elevation models derived from Airborne Laser Scanning data (Scottish Public Sector LiDAR (Phase 3) 2015-16). The enclosure, which is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Wigtownshire 1847, sheet 9), measures some 30m from NNE to SSW by 26m transversely overall.
