Airborne Laser Scanning Interpretation (December 2021)

This hut circle, identified during desk-based examination of visualisations of elevation models derived from Airborne Laser Scanning data (Scottish Public Sector LiDAR (Phase 3) 2015-16), is situated in moorland on a low rise 75m WNW of the stone dyke that crosses the Eyes of Craigbirnoch. It measures about 9m in diameter within a low bank up to 3m in thickness. There is a probable entrance on the SE.

Information from HES Archaeological Survey (A. McCaig) December 2021.
