NH68NE 100 6820 8589.

Formerly recorded as part of NH86NE 30.

About 65 metres to the N [of NH68NE 30] on a false crest, are the scant remains of a stony mound c. 11.0m in diameter. It has been quarried away leaving a scatter of heather grown debris within a slight rim. To the E of centre are two earthfast conglomerate slabs, one facing N-S and the other E-W, which may represent a portal stone and a side slab of a chamber otherwise destroyed.

Visited by OS (A A) 23 June 1975.

Field Visit (September 1978)

Lechanich NH 682 859 NH 68 NE 30

What may be the wasted remains of a chambered cairn measuring about 11 m in diameter stand 400m of Lechanich farmhouse. Two slabs standing at the centre of the cairn may be the remains of a burial-chamber.
