This cairn is situated on the summit of the Cot Hillock, about 250m S of Pitcarles farmhouse; it measures 14m in diameter and 1.1 m in height.

This cairn was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology (NMRS MS 899/90, no.5). It measures 14m in diameter and is 1.1m high. The edges of this feature are somewhat indistinct and it could represent either an archaeological feature or a natural mound.
