Note (1984)

Kinnaird, Church and Burial-ground NO 627 568 NO65NW 15

All that remains visible of this church is an oblong mound in the burial-ground. It was built at the end of the 16th century to replace the church at Cuikstone (NO46NW 18) and served the parish of Kinnaird, which was erected in 1606 and comprised the former parish of Cuikstone and part of the parish of Brechin. The church probably fell into disuse when the parish of Kinnaird was suppressed in 1787.
