Field Visit (1 November 2016)

This compact group of at least six shieling huts stands in moorland on the N side of an unnamed tributary of the Allt Gearraidh Dhroighinn. Bracken- and grass-grown, the huts stand on prominent mounds up to 1m in height. The NE hut (NG 39690 20950) is subrectangular and measures 3m from NNW to SSE by 1.5m transversely within walls up to 0.8m thick and 0.2m high. The SW hut (NG 39676 20932) contains two compartments, the larger one on the SW.
