Field Visit (1 November 2016)

This sheiling structure stands on the W bank of a tributary of the Allt Mor some 700m E of a large group of shieling huts (NG32SE 6). It comprises three elements, the best preserved being a hut measuring 1.2m in diameter within a grass-grown stone wall up to 1.2m thick and 0.4m high There is an entrance on the NW. Attached to the SW side of this is a subrectangular enclosure or possibly a larger hut measuring 2.7m from NNE to SSW by 2.2m internally with an entrance on the SW. Attached to the NW corner of this feature is a hut measuring 1.1m in diameter which may have been accessed from the enclosure.
