Standing Building Recording (4 May 2016 - 10 June 2016)

The McGregor Institute, a glass fronted six storey brick building constructed in 1965 as a teaching and medical research facility, abuts and envelopes the snecked sandstone fabric of the original east-facing gable of the Pathology Building. The western end of the south-facing elevation of the Pathology Building is heavily masked by a fire escape and later single storey intrusions which have impacted on a series of ornate pilaster columns that ran down the side of the building.
