Field Visit (21 April 2016)
A small, square, drystone hut is situated at the foot of the NE face of a steep rocky knoll that has on its summit a fort, two souterrains and other smaller structures (NF95NW 27). It measures 1.7m from NE to SW by 1.2m transversely within walls 0.5 thick and up to 0.9m high. There is an entrance on the SE. A second less well-preserved drystone hut has been set against the cliff face immediately to the SW. It measures 1.6m square within a wall 0.5m thick and up to 0.6m high. The entrance is in the E corner. To the NW there are two sub-rectangular pens also set against the cliff. Both measure about 2.7m from WNW to ESE by 1.5m transversely within rough drystone walls 0.6m thick and 0.3m high.
