Archaeology Notes

NO56NE 22 c.597 659.

The remains of 'a small oval or circular detached entrenchment' lie at the east end of Dunlappie Dyke (NO56NE 6), on Auchinreoch (NO 600 656). It is locally known as a 'camp'. (See NO56NE 23).

(Area: NO 597 659) A ploughed-out earthwork known as 'the camp', said to have been oval and measuring 60 yds by 40 yds.

Not located during field investigation nor on Air Photographs.
