'Hoosie Mound', a mound of burnt stones, lies nearly opposite the end of the roadway which leads to Warsetter farm-house. 'HY 6285 3775).

No trace and no local knowledge of a burnt mound near Warsetter. The name 'Hoosie Mound' is now applied to a natural elevation centred at approx HY 625 384. (But see HY63NW 26).

RCAHMS lists a burnt mound of this name near Warsetter, but it cannot now be located; OS records that the name is applied to a natural hillock a considerable distance away at HY 625 384.
