A late 17th century, rectangular dovecot measuring 13 3/4' x 14 1/2' externally. The flanks are crow-stepped, and there are circled finials on the back wall. The nests are of stone.

Field Visit (18 July 1927)

Dovecot, Marsfield, Anstruther Wester.

A rectangular dovecot of the late 17th century stands in the garden. It measures 13 ¾ by 14 ½ feet externally. The south-west angle is chamfered. The flanks are crow-stepped, and there are circled finials on the back wall. The entrance faces south, and there is an opening for the birds on the same side above the string-course The nests are of stone.
