Aerial Photography (2 July 2014)

The cropmarks of a square enclosure are visible about 100m WSW of Baldovie on aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2013). About 100m north of the enclosure, cropmarks of rig and furrow cultivation are visible running from SW to NE.

A doocot is depicted in this location on the 1st edition of the OS 25-inch map (Forfar Sheet XXXV.5, 1865; 1903), though the cropmarks are presuambly of a different date.

Information from RCAHMS (GFG) 2 July 2013.
