Station probably opened 1.7.1862 (St Andrews Rly); closed 6.9.1965.

This intermediate station on the Leuchars Junction-St Andrews portion of the 'Fife Coast' loop (branch) line of the former North British Rly was opened on 1 July 1862 by the St Andrews Rly. It closed to regular passenger traffic on 6 September 1965.
