Field Visit (12 June 2010)

This burnt mound is situated on the W bank of an un-named stream which links the S end of the Loch of Kirkigarth with the sea. Kidney-shaped on plan, with a hollow on the ENE facing the stream, the grass-grown mound measures 9.7m from NNW to SSE by 5.6m transversely and up to 1m in height.
