Reference (March 2013)
A summerhouse is depicted here on the 1st edition OS 25" map of 1864. It would have been a stopping point on the pleasure walk around the Cnocan Burn to view the waterfalls, with the path (NS03NW 96) and bridge (NS03NW 95) leading to it.
It's name suggests that it may have been used as a bathing spot by ladies from Brodick Castle.
