Activities

Field Visit (August 1989)

(6; SDD '23') Roughly rectangular slab of schistose epidiorite, 1.81m by 0.62m. At the top there is carved in low relief a Latin cross with a very short upper arm, whose arms extend to the edges of the slab. It is possible that this slab is of medieval, or even post-Reformation, date, but comparison with similarly massive slabs at Kilmory Knap (No. 76, 3 and 5) suggests an Early Christian origin.

RCAHMS 1992, visited August 1989
