Standing Building Recording (26 November 2020)
NR 56100 71647 On 26 November 2020 an enhanced building recording was made, of six existing 19th-century buildings and an archaeological evaluation was undertaken at Ardfarnal, Isle of Jura, prior to planning consent being requested for three possible building plots. All six of the buildings recorded were in poor, or extremely poor, ruined condition. Only one had a roof but this was in a state of collapse. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were recorded during the evaluation.
