NO25NE 16 254 565.

A farmstead, comprising one roofed, one partially roofed, one unroofed building annotated 'Ruin', and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Forfarshire 1865, sheet xxx), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).

Situated on low-lying, poorly-drained moorland about 700m SW of Pitewan are the remains of a farmstead comprising a three-compartment rectangular building measuring 20m by 6m.
